Special Education Teacher/Teacher of the Handicapped

Seeking a NJ Department of Education certified Special Education Teacher/Teacher of the Handicapped for an opening in a NJ Department of Education Approved Private Special Education School.

• 11.5 month position for a self-contained classroom, teaching Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies;
• Must have NJ DOE Teacher of the Handicapped Standard Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities with K-6 Standard Certifications;
• Candidate should have strong therapeutic and behavioral management skills;
• Must have experience with students who demonstrate emotional and behavioral challenges as well as some learning differences;
• Seeking the right qualified individual who has strong teaching skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to teach;
