Title:                Elementary Special Education Teacher, 3^rd-5^th Self-Contained                    

Salary:            As per negotiated agreement

Qualifications:

1. Must hold either NJ Standard Certificates or NJ Certificates of Eligibility with Advanced Standing of all the following:
   

• Elementary School Teacher (K-6) and
• Teacher of Students with Disabilities
  

2. Knowledge of development of neurodiverse populations.
   
3. Knowledge of curricula and resources for teaching special needs students.
   
4. Ability to run individual classroom management plans.
   
5. Must provide proof of NJ residency.
   
6. Minimum experience as determined by the Board of Education.
   
7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
   
8. Such other qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
