Qualifications
NJ School Business Administrator Certificate, Qualified Purchasing Agent Certificate, and Master's Degree and/or CPA
Minimum five (5) years of current/recent experience as a NJ School Business Administrator with knowledge of Educational Services Commission
Strong organizational, communications, managerial and interpersonal skills
Required criminal history background check, proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status
Experience with CDK budget and personnel software

The Sussex County ESC is a public school district with a successful PK-12 special education school, 2 adult transition programs and programs for both non public grant funded and public school itinerant programs. We are both a public school and a business with an operating budget of $ 6 million. We are seeking an experienced School Business Administrator/ Board Secretary.
This is a full time, 12 month position. The position is directly responsible for all financial reporting, analysis, budget development and administration, accounts payable, school fiscal plant operations and planning, and risk management.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
NJ School Business Administrator Certificate, Qualified Purchasing Agent Certificate, and Master's Degree and/or CPA.
Minimum five (5) years of current/recent experience as a NJ School Business Administrator.

PREFERRED
Experience with CDK budget and personnel software, R&L Payroll.
Standard Board Secretary duties, including meeting agenda and minutes preparation,public communications, Open Public Records Act (OPRA) ,
Open Public Meetings, ACT (OPMA) requirements.
