ANTICIPATED 2024-2025 School Year Math & ELA Lead Teacher/Instructional Coach

Terms of Employment:  10-month teaching position; salary based on association contract

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate.  Mathematics and/or Language Arts/Literacy Subject-Area Endorsement preferred (Standard, CE, or CEAS).
• Criminal history background check, proof of U.S. Citizenship, or eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
• New Jersey Residency required.

Responsibility:

• Possesses a strong understanding of the NJ Student Learning Standards in Mathematics and Language Arts in grades K-8.
• Assists in smooth, effective implementation of district, board-approved curriculum and programs to meet expectations outlined in the Math and Language Arts NJSLS.
• Analyzes student data collected from NJSLA, grade-level diagnostic assessments, and benchmark assessments, and maintains records of student academic progress.
• Facilitates PLC meetings and works collaboratively with colleagues to coordinate instructional activities, monitor student progress, and provide support and guidance for classroom instructional best practices aimed toward students’ growth in ELA and Mathematics for all students in grades K-8.
• Offers support to staff through instructional observation, modeling, and co-teaching.

• Consults with colleagues, administration, and various school resources Child Study to effectively meet the academic, behavioral, and personal goals of students.
• Serves on the I&RS Team and Title 1/ScIP/School Leadership Team.
• Maintains good relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.
• Meets professional responsibilities as outlined by the district.
