Principal Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who demonstrates a passion for educational excellence, a commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe learning environment, and the ability to drive high student achievement outcomes. This role demands a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, adept in building a collaborative culture among staff, students, and the community. 

Specific Skills Required:
  • NJ Principal Certificate or eligibility 
  • Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Leadership, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of minimum experience in teaching, curriculum development and school administration experience required
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills with the aptitude to foster a positive working relationship among all stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the community.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining a collaborative educational environment. Ability to lead by example, promoting teamwork and unity among staff to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrated track record in improving student achievement outcomes. An understanding of curriculum development, assessment practices, and strategies for raising academic standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategies that promote a safe, orderly, and inclusive school climate. Experience in managing school operations efficiently while ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
  • Forward-thinking and open to innovative approaches in education. Ability to adapt to changing educational landscapes and incorporate technology and modem teaching practices to enhance learning experiences.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with a data-informed approach to addressing challenges and optimizing opportunities for school improvement.
  • Commitment to engaging with the local community and fostering partnerships that benefit the school and its students.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in the areas of personnel management, school administration and supervision of programs and staff.
  • Proven ability to effectively analyze data to evaluate and improve programs. 

Specific Skills Preferred:
  • Five (5) years of experience preferred in an administrative role, preferably as a principal or vice-principal, within a diverse and high-achieving school setting
  • Providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to all aspects of school operations.
  • Leading initiatives to improve student performance and educational outcomes.
  • Developing a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the academic and social-emotional development of all students.
  • Facilitating professional development and growth opportunities for staff.
  • Engaging with parents and community stakeholders to build strong partnerships in support of student success.
