Supervisor of ELA/ Humanities 
Job Summary:
This position is a Supervisor of ELA/ Humanities 
Qualifications:
  • Valid New Jersey Department of Education English Teaching Certificate
  • New Jersey Certificate – Supervisor
  • Demonstrated communication skill
  • Demonstrated leadership talent and abilities
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in school or district level administration preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years successful experience in teaching 
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment and instruction
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
  • Prior experience working with teachers, students and families and ELA/ Humanities themes 
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill 
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively 
  • Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
