English Language Learner (ELL) TEACHER - Elementary or Middle School
Are you a dynamic and dedicated educator? Would you like to teach in a 50/50 dual language immersion program where students spend half of their school experience in English World and the other half in Spanish World?
If you are, we need you as an ESL/ELL teacher in our Dual Language or Middle School program. Become a part of an enthusiastic and dedicated staff and make a difference in a child's life. Our ESL teachers collborate with our general and special eduation teachers, using an inclusion model.
Join us as we help our students develop into bilingual and bi-literate citizens in a school focused on respect, social emotional learning, problems solving, project based learning, progressive teaching practices, equity, social justice, Montessori roots, and more!
Candidates must be fluent in English.
Knowledge of constructivism, Montessori, Reggio, and reading and writing workshop a plus.
Teacher of English as a Second Language required and the following:
- SIOP training desired
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification prererred
- Must be proficient in the use of instructional technology
- ELLevation experience is a plus!
