Ranch Hope is currently recruiting Teachers Aides for our Special Education School located in Alloway. Applicants must have a a substitute teacher certificate which requires a minimum of 60 college credits. Experience working with adolescents that require trauma informed care is preferred but not required. This position includes a 6 1/2 hour work day and school calendar schedule. Additional shifts are available but not required during Extended School Year.

Paraprofessional:
Aids classroom students with academic comprehension
Assists treatment team in meeting behavior goals
Keeps students in line of sight and hearing at all times
Supervises students during lunch and recess
Attends students during lavatory breaks
Keeps assigned student's space educational space neat, clean and orderly
Has full knowledge of school policies and procedures
Maintains timely records and reports regarding the students under their care
De-escalates crisis situations
Performs restraints as needed if a youth becomes a danger to self or others
