Percussion Instructor

Carteret High School is searching for a Percussion Instructor for the full 2022 Marching Band Season.  Instructors with prior experience teaching high school drumline and front ensembles will receive first consideration, but all candidates will be considered.  The ability to teach beginner fundamentals and unit cohesiveness are the primary skill sets we are seeking. The instructor will have autonomy over instructional technique, equipment choices, and all percussion/front ensemble decision making.

 

Carteret High School marches a full Tournament of Bands competitive marching schedule, and has a two week band camp beginning August 8.

 

The instructor will be funded through the Carteret High School Band Parents Association, and pay will be commensurate with experience.
