Avon-by-the-Sea School District is a one building district serving approximately 130 students in grades Kindergarten through Grade Eight. We are in search of a Teacher of Students with Disabilities for our summer Extended School Year program from July 8 - August 1, 2024. Applicants must possess the required certification and demonstrate a successful track record of exceptional instructional pedagogy, advanced technology skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across many platforms.

Job Description:

Instruction - ESY Teacher

Required NJ Certification:

Elementary School Teacher K-6 (1001)

Teacher of Student with Disabilities (2475)

Desired Experience:

Evidence-based literacy and math instruction (Wilson Fundations, Heggerty, Guided Math, etc.)
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports
Multisensory Approach to Instruction
STEAM Integration
