About the Role:

As  a lower school teacher at Pioneer Academy, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning in our young students. You will craft and deliver engaging lessons that align with our comprehensive curriculum, ensuring a seamless progression through the early academic years. Your passion for education will be key in creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and interactive lessons for elementary grades that align with the school's curriculum.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, inquiry-based learning, and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and integrated learning experience for students.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in elementary education, incorporating them into the classroom as appropriate.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities and school events to contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• NJ State Teacher Certification in Elementary Education.
• Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire young learners.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
