JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting students’ communication needs and collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to help all students reach their full potential in an inclusive school environment.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals and objective
  • Participate in Child Study Team meetings, IEP meetings, and eligibility conferences
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate speech-language strategies into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social-pragmatic skills, and AAC as appropriate
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold a New Jersey Educational Services Speech and Language Pathologist certificate or its equivalent from the New Jersey Department of Education.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Prompt training preferred
  • Experience with feeding therapy preferred

 

Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Annual salary range: $57,000-$65,000 commensurate upon experience/degree(s).
