Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- NJ Elementary Education Certificate or certificate of eligibility required.
Special Education Certificate required.
Middle School endorsement Social Studies or Math.
- Demonstrates ability to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to fulfill their potential for academic, social and emotional growth in an inclusive setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge of effective co- teaching methods and evidence-based practices for differentiating curriculum with appropriate modification and accommodations for special students.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment with all students and facilitate proactive and positive communication with parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a record of professionalism in service to students, staff, and school community.
- Regional criminal history background check required
