SALARY: As per the contract between the Board of Education and the Phillipsburg Education Association
JOB DESCRIPTION: Secondary (6-12) World Language Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. New Jersey Teacher Certification in Spanish (1550)
2. Competence in NJ Student Learning Standards
3. Ability to communicate with students effectively in the target language
4. Ability to individualize instruction
5. Strong management and organizational skills
6. Willingness to work collaboratively
7. Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED: The applicant should be knowledgeable about the following:
1. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals
2. Understands the use and programming of assistive and educational technology
