Required

• Must pass NJ criminal history review 
• High school diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field*
• Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
• Good oral and written communication skills 

Reports to: Child Care Program Site Leader and/or Building Principal

Supervises:  Assists in the supervision of classroom activities under the direction and supervision of the designated certified personnel.

Job Goal:  To assist in the maintenance of an orderly, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the child care program by helping and supervising students.
