Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated school counselor to join our team as a long term replacement. The ideal candidate is organized, a self-starter, and is committed to helping students reach their fullest social, emotional, and academic potential. Responsibilities include individual counseling, facilitating counseling groups, teaching classroom social-emotional learning lessons, the role of the anti-bullying specialist, collaborating with other professionals, and providing support to students, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
New Jersey School Counselor certification required
Experience working with children and families
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of New Jersey’s HIB Law
