Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction (12-month position)

|
Qualifications:
|
|
1.
|
Valid New Jersey CE/CEAS as Supervisor, Principal, or Director.
|
|
2.
|
Strong understanding of current research-based instructional practices.
|
|
3.
|
Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teaching staff.
|
|
4.
|
Extensive background in Elementary/Middle School academic coaching, data analysis, and driving daily instruction for proven achievement results.
|
|
5.
|
Strong understanding and knowledge base of a broad array of instructional curricular tools that are proven to enhance academic outcomes.
|
|
6.
|
Minimum of 7-10 years as a classroom teacher or prior academic coaching experience preferred.
|
|
7.
|
Special Education experience preferred.
|
|
8.
|
Experience with Basic Skills preferred.
|
|
9.
|
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
|
|
Performance Responsibilities
|
- Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of all curricula and curriculum programs, ensuring alignment with state standards and providing PD to staff to optimize student learning across all grade levels.
- Understand how to analyze and use student achievement to make informed decisions about instructional practice and program adjustments for optimal academic achievement.
- Ensure curriculum and curricular tools meet the needs of all students.
- Monitor classroom instruction to ensure alignment with curriculum and best practices.

Salary: Commensurate with a PreK-8 district with approximately 550 students.
|
|
