Fall Sports Coaching Positions
2026-2027 School Year
Description: The Fort Lee Athletic Department is seeking qualified applicants for Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Volunteer Coach positions for the 2026 - 2027 Fall Sports Season.
Fall Sports: Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Boys/Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, and Volleyball
Locations: Fort Lee High School & Lewis F. Cole Middle School
Qualifications:
- Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification or Substitute Certification to apply
- Must have experience and knowledge of sport of interest
- 2+ years experience preferred
- Mantoux test
- Must meet criminal background check for both federal and state as per the Department of Education under NJSA 18A:6-7.2.
Coaching Classifications:
- Class I - Football
- Class II = Boys/Girls Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country
- Class III = Girls Tennis
Salary: In accordance with the current FLEA negotiated agreement. Stipends vary by position.
Application Procedure: All interested candidates must apply online and select the appropriate coaching position on the extracurricular screen of the application. For external candidates, all certifications must be uploaded prior to the closing date of the posting to be considered for any certified position in the Fort Lee School District.
Selection Procedure: Candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted by the hiring administrator to schedule an interview.
