SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST - POMPTON LAKES BOROUGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Northern Region Educational Services Commission (NRESC), with its central office located in Wayne, New Jersey, has an opening for a full-time School Psychologist in Pompton Lakes Borough School District from January 15, 2026 to the end of the school year (2025-2026).

Certifications:

• New Jersey Certification as a School Psychologist

Qualifications:

• Experience working with at-risk students with social and emotional needs.
• Experience with child study team and cognitive testing.
• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Criminal History background check.
• Proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effective in English, both orally and in writing with students, staff, parents, and community while adhering to confidentiality guidelines at all times.
• Familiarity with Google Applications (slides, sheets, docs and drive).
• Maintain professional competence by participating in staff development activities, curriculum development meetings, and other professional opportunities; and
• Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.

Salary Range:  As per negotiated contract and commensurate with experience as per the established PCESCTA Salary Guide ranging from $61,000 - $72,000 (prorated for a later start date).
