Interim Principal
(Four days per week)
The Dennis Township Board of Education is seeking an innovative and visionary educational leader to serve as our Interim Principal. The Dennis Township School District is a Pre-K to 8 District in Cape May County with 646 students. We are seeking an Interim Principal who will provide leadership, supervision and administrative guidance for the purpose of promoting excellence in teaching and learning for all students. The successful candidate will excel in communication, fostering relationships with parents, staff, and the community. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is approachable and able to engage the school community and inspire others to work toward our shared vision.
Responsibilities include all aspects of operation of school facilities and educational programs.
Position start date July 1, 2025.
Requirements:
• Valid NJ Standard Certificate for Teacher preferred
• Valid NJ Standard Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility for Principal or School Administrator
• Master’s Degree in related area from an accredited college/university
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Principal, Assistant Principal or Central Office Administrator preferred
• Minimum five (5) years experience teaching at Primary, Elementary or Middle School levels preferred
• Experience in areas of leadership and vision in developing, implementing and evaluating instructional services for all students
• Strong skill set in interpersonal relations, communications, problem solving and organization
• Such alternatives to the above that the Board of Education finds to be appropriate and acceptable
