Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Position to Start on or about date of September 1, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Hold active BCBA (or BCBA-D) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
2. Master’s degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, or Special Education from an accredited institution.
3. NJDOE Standard Educational Services Certificate (e.g., School Psychologist, Social Worker, or Teacher
of Students with Disabilities) preferred.
4. Proficiency with NJ-specific IEP software (e.g., Frontline/IEP Direct).
5. Deep knowledge of NJ Administrative Code Title 6A:14 (Special Education).
6. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
7. Keen attention to detail and a high level of patience.
8. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION
JOB GOAL: To provide professional expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support the
academic, social, and emotional success of students. The BCBA aims to reduce
behavioral barriers to learning, foster student independence, and empower educators
through evidence-based training and consultative support.
SALARY: In accordance with the BREA Negotiated Agreement
