QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant must hold a substitute teacher certificate or 30 college credits to be eligible for substitute certification.
Experience as a cheerleading coach at the high school level preferred, but is not required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supervises and leads the cheer squad at all home and away basketball games. 2. Organizes, develops and conducts safe, daily practices with the cheerleaders.3. Maintains notes or records of practices and season schedule in an accurate and organized fashion.4. Orders and distributes appropriate supplies and equipment assigned to the cheerleaders.5. Collects and inventories all assigned equipment and supplies at the conclusion of the season.6. Works directly with athletic director, school nurse, guidance department and school doctor to determine eligibility for students.7. Completes and submits an end of season report to athletic advisor.8. Remains on site providing supervision of students until all athletes have departed.9. Performs such tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Superintendent or immediate supervisor.
RATE: $1,900.00 stipend position (Rate is in accordance with the 2025-26 negotiated agreement and is subject to change pending 2026-27 contract negotiations.)
