Interim/Acting Administrator
District
Jamesburg Public Schools is seeking an interim/acting administrator. The successful candidate will assist on an as-needed basis with coverage for administrator absences and supporting building needs. The successful candidate will provide temporary administrative and instructional leadership. The interim/acting administrator will assist with the instructional program and school operations to ensure a school climate that fosters the educational, social, and emotional development of each student.
The position is anticipated to be available as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
New Jersey State Certification as a Principal.
Minimum of five years’ teaching or other certificated education position experience preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity preferred.
Exceptional writing, oral, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
Required criminal history check and proof of US citizenship or legal alien status.
Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board of Education may deem appropriate.
COMPENSATION:
$400 per day.
