Social Studies Teachers

Teacher of Social Studies(grades 6-8 or 9-12)

Requirements:

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of Social Studies or Middle School Social Studies)
• Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Social Studies
• Knowledge/Experience with Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Ability to differentiate instruction/rigor by course level (ie: CP, Honors, AP)
• Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members
• Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Understands importance of utilizing primary sources and various literacy strategies (with the social studies classroom)
• Background with implementation of Google Apps for Education
• Bilingual (a plus)

Salary:

• As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
• Minimum $63,000 - maximum $98,404
