Substitute School Security Officers as needed basis

FREDON TOWNSHIP SCHOOL-Anticipated Substitute School Security Officers

Anticipated Salary: $35.00-$36.54 per hour as submitted by timesheet

 (Based on Experience)  Benefits: NJ Earned Sick Leave Accrued Based on NJ Earned Sick Leave Law

         Details:

• Positions open until filled
• Reports to: Administration
• On an as-needed basis

 Position Requirements:

• Law Enforcement Experience mandatory
• Knowledge of child welfare and compulsory education laws and regulations 
• Knowledge of any district policies pertaining to the safe operation of the school district 
• Required criminal background check
• Proof of US Citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Valid weapon carry permit as assigned by the superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, with board authorization to carry a weapon on school property (N.J.S.A 2C:39-5), (N.J.S.A 2C:39-6)
• Must have or be willing to receive student restraint training (such as Handle with Care or a suitable alternative approved by administration)
• CPR/AED (Adult and Child) Certified
• Narcan Training
• Additional training as required by the administration
