Technology/Media Technician

Position: Technology/Media Technician

Position Details: Support and empower staff and students through effective use of instructional technology. This role provides frontline technical assistance and ensures smooth operation and availability of district devices, applications, and classroom technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 tech support for staff and students
• Maintain and troubleshoot computers, devices, printers, and AV equipment
• Configure, install, and test hardware and instructional applications
• Manage device inventory, distribution, repairs, and warranty tracking
• Support district help-desk ticketing system and resolve issues promptly
• Assist with AV setup for school events and meetings
• Collaborate with technology staff to address hardware/software needs
• Support account access, password resets, and network procedures
• Stay current with emerging technologies and participate in team meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Reports To: K-8 Technology Coordinator and Manager of Information Technology

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, 12-month, permanent position, medical benefits and pension. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
• Start Date: July 1, 2026 or soon thereafter
