The Demarest School District anticipates an FMLA opening for a Physical Education Teacher from September to the end of November 2025. Our school district is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team as a Physical Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster students' physical growth and well-being through engaging and comprehensive physical education programs. This role involves creating a dynamic learning environment that encourages students' physical development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices in a supportive and collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement diverse physical education curricula that cater to a range of skill levels and interests.
• Promote safety and a positive attitude toward physical fitness and health among students.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate improvement.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support students’ overall growth and development.
• Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events, ensuring inclusive participation for all students.
