Job Title: Systems Administrator / Technology Manager
Location: Bethlehem Township School District, Hunterdon County, NJ
Position Type: Full-Time (12-Month)
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000

Position Summary: Bethlehem Township School District is seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator / Technology Manager to oversee the district’s IT infrastructure and support the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support servers, network infrastructure, wireless systems, and district devices
  • Monitor system performance, security, backups, and disaster recovery
  • Provide technical support to staff and students
  • Manage user accounts and access (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Support and maintain classroom technology (Chromebooks, interactive displays, instructional software)
  • Assist teachers with integrating technology into instruction
  • Provide training and professional development on educational technology tools
  • Support implementation of the district technology plan and recommend improvements
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage technology inventory and assist in preparing technology budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Science, or related field (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT support
  • Knowledge of networking, servers, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with non-technical users
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Required criminal history background check
  • Experience in a K–12 school environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology tools (preferred)
