Working at Kateri Day Camp will give you hands-on-experience managing a diverse group of children, developing creative activities and lessons, and growing your understanding of young people.
Kateri Day Camp is a non-profit summer camp that provides over 200 children from low income families, ages 5-13 a safe and wholesome summer camp experience. Daily activities include swim lessons, hikes, nature, games, sports, arts & crafts, literacy, science, and many special events.

Summer Camp Lifeguards/Swim Instructors
Responsible for daily swim lessons and Lifeguard duties for children ages 5-13. Must be energetic, responsible, and respectful. Must hold a valid Lifeguard certification including First Aid and CPR or be available to successfully complete these courses that are available at Kateri Day Camp. Please inquire for more details about lifeguard certification.
Qualifications:
- Must have a sincere desire to work with children.
- Must be able to work the entire summer and attend mandatory trainings.
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- Must be hardworking, diligent, energetic, respectful and responsible.
- Must love being outdoors.
2023 Camp dates: June 26- August 11 (closed July 3rd and 4th), Monday-Friday from 8:00-3:30.
Mandatory training dates: June 17-June 24th
