NJ Elementary/PreK-3/K-6 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate required
Discrete Trial Training
Experience with implementation of AAC, PECS
Experience in working in Autism programs preferred
Knowledge of social skills curriculum, AFLS, ABBLS and implementation
Experience tracking data and monitoring student progress through ReThink
De-escalation trained preferred
Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students
Experience working and collaborating with parents, administrators, child study team members, and other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans
