Elementary Language Arts teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Language Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication, and helping students develop strong language arts skills that will serve them throughout their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel encouraged and motivated to succeed.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide goals.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
• Contribute to the school community by participating in events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of elementary language arts curriculum and best practices in literacy instruction.
• Passion for working with children and creating an environment that fosters academic growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small school setting.

Compensation: 

• Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
• This is a school year positon with the option to extend into the summer and beyond. 
• Salary range $48,000 - $50,000
