Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, a Catholic, co-educational, college-preparatory school, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our faculty. This position will primarily teach Spanish language courses, with the possibility of additional levels or related courses as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, rigorous, and developmentally appropriate Spanish language instruction.
- Fostering a classroom environment that promotes language acquisition, cultural awareness, and effective communication skills.
- Assessing and evaluating student performance through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the World Languages Department and across disciplines to support student learning.
- Integrating Bishop Eustace’s mission and values into classroom instruction and interactions with students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- New Jersey Teacher Certification in Spanish (or eligibility for certification).
- Strong knowledge of world language pedagogy and best practices for language instruction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.
Salary Range:
$52,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
