Assist students to achieve their potential and make improvements based collaborative designed plans for student academic and socioemotional growth.
Provide support to students who are underachieving academically, chronically absent, and/or who are experiencing social or emotional concerns related to behavior, anxiety, or other wellness factors.
Maintain logs of counseling services and parental contact provided.
Serve as a resource to the professional school counselors, teaching staff, and administration in areas of peer conflict resolution, crisis management, and/or coping skill development in students.
Advocate for student support alongside district counselors, nurses, and CST to ensure outside referral services or district programs are targeted to students in need.
Provide assistance to school climate, safety, 504, I&RS, and other teams as needed.
Assist elementary and high school transition activities as needed.
Conduct class lessons, grade level presentations, and/or parent workshops as requested.
Provide educational and wellness resources to the school community.
Provide counseling coverage in case of absences.
