Camp HTSACC - CIT Coordinator(s)
Seasonal Position: 5 week program (7/6/26-8/7/26), plus additional planning time
Effective: Immediately
 
The Hanover Township Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, creative, and supportive leader to be responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of Camp HTSACC's CIT program. This position provides leadership, guidance, and structured training to participants preparing for future roles as camp staff. 
 
Qualifications:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous camp experience and/or experience working with teens or school aged children required.
  • College coursework in education, recreation, psychology, child development, or related field preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage groups, and maintain a positive, structured environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Must meet NJ residency and criminal history requirements.



 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and support CIT participants throughout the entirety of the program.
  • Plan and lead activities, team building activities, and leadership development experiences.
  • Plan and facilitate weekly CIT training sessions focused on leadership, safety and procedures, behavior management, and camp operations.
  • Teach problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Provide supervised opportunities for CITs to assist and lead activities.
  • Monitor growth and provide ongoing constructive feedback to all CIT participants.
  • Develop CIT schedules balancing training and hands-on leadership experiences.
  • Maintain communication with camp leadership regarding participant progress and program needs.



 
Hourly Wage: $25.00
