The Deron School of N.J., Inc., an approved private school for students with disabilities, ages 12-21, is seeking applicants for a Technology/Workplace Readiness Teacher in our Montclair campus. The applicant should possess the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment, as well as, maintain high standards for teaching and learning.
- Candidates must be well versed in Google Workspace: Classroom, Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides, Meet and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher and other instructional and administrative applications.
- Experience with using 3 D printers, Graphic Arts software, and a willingness to try new and innovative technologies.
- Experience working with the NJ Career Readiness Standards and experience with CBI, SLE, and ABA programming is a plus.
- Candidates will also be asked to complete additional tasks within the school for activities, occasions, and presentations.
- Candidates should also be familiar with basic coding and programming skills.
