Summer Curriculum Writer Position - LLD Writing

Hours Required: 20 hours of curriculum writing. 

Start/End Date: June 19, 2026 - August 31, 2026. 

Qualifications: 

• Certified Teacher in the State of New Jersey
• Experience with QSAC requirements and the PEAK and/or LLD curriculum.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team of teachers and administrators and implement feedback and revisions required until the curriculum meets expectations.
• Ability to meet curriculum deadlines.
• Google Documents formatting skills. 

Reports To:  Supervisors of Curriculum and Supervisor of Special Services

Job Goal:  To ensure the development, revision and/or writing of the districts' curriculum. Completed draft of curriculum due July 24, 2026 or sooner with revisions and feedback to continue until the August BOE meeting. 

Performance Responsibilities: 

• Read NJDOE documents on required changes to curriculum.
• Conduct curriculum needs assessment.
• Review and meet with the curriculum director.
• Turnkey/coach staff on new changes and best practices.
• Revise or create curriculum. 

Evaluations: 

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board of Education. Stipend per negotiated contract.
