Lakeview School, located in Edison, NJ is currently recruiting for Teachers of Students with Disabilities to work with students with developmental and related disabilities aged 3-21 years.
- Develop appropriate educational goals and objectives, teaching strategies, and methods of assisting these goals for each student.
- Plan and implement individual, small and large group instructional activities and promote appropriate socialization ad self-help skills.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the teaching assistants and aides in the clasroom.
Requirements:
- BA or BS degree
- NJ DOE certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped
- NJ DOE certification as Elementary School Teacher K-5
Work a full-time, 35-hour work week: Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-4:00pm or Mon.-Fri. 8:00am-3:30pm
