PART TIME SCHOOL BASED BCBA SCHOOL BASED
STARTING JANUARY 2021
Approximately 15 hours per week
- Some ON-SITE and some REMOTE
• Behavioral assessments/evaluations
• VB-MAPP assessment for autistic students
• District monthly parent/guardian/caregiver group for families of autistic students
• Autistic program maintenance should include teacher and paraprofessional training, behavior management, trial instruction, verbal behavior programming, direct instruction, structure and routine development, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Behavioral plan development
• Classroom behavior management and development
• Attendance at IEP meetings
• Liaison to assist transition from short term placements to classroom
• New teacher training and follow-up consultation on classroom management strategies
• Transition students from one program to another
• Parent trainings
• Home consultation as needed
• Develop and facilitate in-district social skills program during school hours
• Provide parent/family training to ensure generalization of skills at home
• Follow-up consultation/support as requested by the Office of Special Services
• Responsible for all reports, typing, translations, and submission of same to the Office of Special Services
• Available to provide services and reports at short notice
• Appear and testify in mediation and/or due process hearings whenever needed
RATE OF PAY:
The hourly rate of pay for a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst is between $29.50 - $43.25 PER HOUR
