Description

 Superintendent 

The Riverdale Borough School District is searching for an experienced and collaborative educator/administrator ready to serve as its next leader.  The Riverdale Borough School District educates approximately 300 students Pre-K – grade 8, with Pompton Lakes receiving our high school students. The school district has an operating budget of $10MM.

  • Qualifications
  • NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility required
  • Experience in administration preferred
  • Classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Sending-receiving and secondary experience preferred

The successful candidate shall demonstrate expertise in:

  • Communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with the staff and community
  • Personnel management, professional development, and evaluations
  • Developing referenda for facilities upgrades and expansion
  • Financial management, including grants and generating alternate revenue sources
  • Strategic and long-range planning
