Full-Time Speech Language Specialist
Location: Burlington County Special Services School District – Educational Services Unit
Position Summary
- The Burlington County Special Services School District’s Educational Services Unit is seeking an experienced Speech Language Specialist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in evaluation, assessment interpretation, therapy planning, and timely documentation. Experience in conducting individual and small-group therapy sessions for school-aged children is essential.
Qualifications
NJDOE Speech Language Specialist Certification (required)
Strong background in evaluation, report writing, and assessment interpretation
Experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions with students
Proficiency in developing therapy goals and implementing interventions
Working knowledge of NJAC 6A:14
Familiarity with current assessment tools and best practices
Preference given to candidates who are licensed and/or hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Salary & Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: $64,064 – $82,487 (commensurate with education and experience)
Note: Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
