We're looking for the next outstanding member of our A-list faculty who can tutor 9th-12th grade students in an array of academic subjects to support them through tough classes, build their confidence, and help them succeed.
Subjects include all levels of Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, other Sciences, English, History, Foreign Languages, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions to high school students in academically rigorous courses, including AP, IB, and Dual Enrollment
- Utilize learning technology to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve lesson plans and teaching methods.
- Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Teaching minimum 1 year (Required)
- Driver's license (Required)
- Your own reliable transportation (Required)
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to virtual teaching
Work Schedule:
- 5 days a week, scheduled when our students are out of school:
- Weekends: Saturdays (9:30-2:00) & Sundays (your choice of 9:30-2:00, 12:00-4:30, or 3:30-8:00)
- Weekdays: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (6:00-9:00)
