Elementary Principal


Requirements:

1. NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE)
2. Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience;
3. Administrative Experience (a plus)
4. Knowledge/experience with early childhood/elementary best practices (particularly Mathematics and English Language Arts);
5. Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process;
6. Ability to manage local, state, and federal funds (school level);
7. Ability to strengthen family and community engagement;
8. Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability, and NJ Student Learning Standards;
9. Willingness to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).
   

Effective: 2026-2027 School Year, anticipated start date September 1, 2026

Salary: Based on 2026-2027 HTASA Salary Guide: (min.) $145,463 to (max.) $172,067.

In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package:
including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off. Will be entered into the appropriate NJ Pension Program.
