Brief Description:
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently accepting applications for Hourly Teacher(s) of Practical Nursing (Clinical) (Adult LPN Program) for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Clinical sites are located throughout the Middlesex County area. These are hourly positions with a compensation rate based on the negotiated agreement, effective for the 2025-2026 school year.
 
Position responsibilities include:

• Direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care
• Provide documented feedback to students on the level of performance
• Maintains current knowledge related to clinical policies and procedures
• Corrects and returns homework, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner
• Keeps the program coordinator informed of all student and/or clinical site issues or concerns
• Plans clinical experiences consistent with the student’s knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs

 
Qualifications:
 Applicants must possess a current New Jersey RN License. Priority will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (Master of Science in Nursing preferred).

Appointment is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
