Middle School Special Education Teacher - Leave Replacement

ANTICIPATED VACANCIES

This position involves working with middle school students requiring special education services during a designated leave period. The candidate will be responsible for adapting general education lessons and teaching various subjects to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Emphasizing collaboration, the successful candidate will work closely with general education teachers to facilitate an inclusive learning environment aligned with individual education plans (IEPs).

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and provide necessary accommodations.
• Assess and track student progress regularly, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student achievements and areas for improvement.
