Essential Qualifications:

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
Advanced course/degree work in the use of computers and related technology in education. Candidate should provide an electronic portfolio with examples of created technologies such as websites, unit portfolios, webquests, etc.
Knowledge of effective educational theories and practices involving technology and their infusion into the curriculum.
Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, community members, and students to maintain and strengthen sound human relations for the improvement of the school program.

Essential Functions:

Become familiar with established curricula. Confer and assist the staff and the administration in planning and implementing the effective use of technology for instructional, non-instructional technology applications, and management services.
Provide staff development, peer coaching, and model classroom lessons utilizing techniques that infuse technology into the curriculum.
Provide in-class support to teachers in developing and planning lessons, units of instruction, and the organization of class time to provide a balanced program of instruction integrating technology.
Proactively engage all teachers in technologies that support curriculum and assist students in the acquisition and use of information.
Instruct students and staff in the use of technology as it relates to the curriculum.
