Family Support Paraprofessional (Title I):The Family Support Paraprofessional builds connections between families and the school by establishing positive relationships and personal connections with students and families.
This position will include, but is not limited to: supporting families in identifying barriers to daily school attendance; referring families to local, county, and state resources to support individual needs (financial, food, counseling, transportation services); serving as a link between district services and families (I&RS, ESL, CST, Title I supports, etc.); and identifying families in need of financial support to provide students with access to school programs.
Terms of Employment:The Family Support Paraprofessional is a 10 month position with an hourly salary to be determined by the Superintendent and approved by the Board of Education.
