PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR\ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

FULL TIME/12 MONTH POSITION

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with school district central office or equivalent duties and responsibilities including basic secretarial functions, records keeping, organizational skills, situational problem solving.
  • Varied and comprehensive skill set related to technical competencies for office software systems and applications such as, Microsoft Office, Google Software Applications. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills related to dealing effectively with the community, staff, state officials, office staff, in order to accomplish goals, implement programs, and manage issues.
  • Inputs and processes payroll information into the payroll processing systems regarding federal and state taxes, as well as all deductions. (e.g., retirement, health insurance, dues) Working knowledge of SYSTEMS 3000/AESOP preferred.
  • Prepares and/or distributes all quarterly and annual tax information (e.g., W-2 statements).
  • Knowledge of current State law and code, and board policies and regulations regarding business office operations and board of education functioning.
  • General knowledge of School Lunch programs including application processing, determinations, and federal and state reporting. Working knowledge of GENESIS student management system preferred.
  • Ability to work in an environment that requires confidentiality in all aspects of the assigned responsibilities. Related to, but not limited to, employees, various staff and student situations, board functions, contracts, and deliberations and discussions held on an ad hoc basis.

July 15, 2026

Salary/Benefits

$65,000-$75,000

Full time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription and Dental Benefits as well as enrollment in PERS (Public Employment Retirement System)

Sick, Personal, Vacation and Bereavement Days are included.
