Teacher of Italian

Livingston High Schoolhas an immediate opening for a first-year, tenure-track Teacher of Italian. Salarywill bedetermined in accordance with the LEA agreement, available on the district’s website (www.livingston.org). Responsibilities:

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and provide additional support or enrichment as necessary.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and development.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey State Certification in Italian (K-12) or eligibility for certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Italian language (native or near-native fluency preferred).
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
