Job Summary:
The position is a Computer Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CTE Certification Computer Science)
Strong knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
Strong Knowledge in Subject Area
Ability to incorporate interdisciplinary connections as well as apply design thinking
Ability to support staff with the use Technology tools
Must be able to support staff members with the infusion of technology standards
Basic knowledge of how computers work, from the basic science and mathematics behind their operation to the actual hardware and the software built on those foundations.
Can effectively communicate and provide feedback to students at all levels of understanding.
Ability to collaborate and develop strong engaging lessons for students that promote STEM, creativity, design thinking and innovation.
Possesses a great talent in the Integration of Technology
Understand Cross-curricular connections
Ability to support teachers and student leadership teams
Ability to promote strong learning culture
Ability to collaborate and develop engaging lessons with the faculty and provide support through the classroom activities, coaching, co-teaching and modeling.
Ability to commit to participate in facilitated Coaching/Leadership Planning
Nurture and grow student opportunities for leadership in technology and STEM
Knowledge of Career Ready Practices
Ability to facilitate student learning through challenges and practice.
Ability to take initiative
A people person
Great Organizational skills
Ability to work well with others
