Varsity Softball Coaches

(East Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Piscataway and Wood Bridge Campuses)

Brief Description:
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet School is currently accepting applications for Varsity Softball Coaches.
Salary will be based on the Varsity coaches’ salary guide in effect for the 2025-2026 school year. Appointment is made on a yearly basis.

Qualifications:
Be the holder of a New Jersey State Teacher’s Certificate and/or a County Substitute’s Certificate, have a knowledgeable background of the sport as a player or coach in college or in high school, three years of sub-varsity coaching preferred, and a successful background in working with young people in a related sports field. Coaches will be certified in CPR/AED and Sports First Aid and must register for the NFHS Coaching Principles Course, if new to the profession, within 120 days of employment. The candidate must have completed the “A Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention” course as well as the “Concussion in Sports – What you need to Know.” Certifications must be completed before the first day of the season.

Appointment:
Appointment is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
